A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex financial data, developing financial models, forecasting future performance, and providing strategic recommendations to management to improve a company’s financial health, often working closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive business growth; key duties include preparing budgets, analyzing variances, evaluating investment options, and conducting deep research on historical financial data to identify trends and opportunities.

Duties:

  • Analyze and report on company and departmental performance through the use of general ledger analysis, variance analysis, financial ratio analysis, trend analysis, or other means that may be appropriate for management achievements and fiscal performance .Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Assisting with budgeting
  • Dive deep into financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to uncover trends and insights that will drive our success
  • Craft and present financial reports that tell a compelling story, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with variance analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape our annual budgeting process
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience in business partnering with cross-functional teams
