  • Assists in organizing, drafting and tying-out all SEC reports generated by the Company including earnings releases, financial statements (Quarterly Form 10Q and Annual Form 10K), and proxy. Coordinates collection of supporting documentation and reviews supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with all SEC filings related to XBRL reporting.
  • Partner across different plants and functional groups (treasury, FP&A, etc.) to gather, consolidate and analyze financial information for financial reporting purposes: lease reporting (ASC 842), revenue recognition (ASC 606), etc.
  • Prepare month-end financial reports and variance explanations
  • Assists with the period close process through preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Assist in development of accounting policies
  • Oversight of consolidation software and related closing processes
  • Understand and be proficient in dealing with the general ledger accounting issues for a large, complex organization.
  • Assist with special accounting and reporting projects as needed (i.e., acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, debt offering, etc.).


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2-3 years of experience in a national public accounting firm (with publicly traded clients)
  • CPA certification completed or in process
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in using software: Cognos Controller and Great Plains
  • Ability to complete XBRL tagging of public documents
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient experience in completing world-wide consolidation for company with international operations
  • Strong research and analytical skills
