SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST – COMMISSIONS
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for calculating, verifying and distributing commission and sales incentive payments to sales representatives, both internal and external, in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify data against management reports indicating sales representative assignments, commission splits, commission rates and exceptions to the rules
- Business partner with internal departments including Customer Service, Accounting and Sales
- Coordinate with Sales for final approvals and distribute commission reports to the sales representatives as well as internal business partners
- Communicate changes to Sales, tracking exceptions and maintaining commission data in the databases
- Responsible for providing monthly and quarterly commissions and sales incentive plan accruals
- Maintain company databases and actively investigate commission discrepancies
- Identify areas for process improvement in collaboration with finance and other business partners
- Recommend ways to streamline business processes and automate as appropriate
- Help support Corporate FP&A team during month-end and quarter-end close
- Ad-hoc analysis and special projects, as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance or accounting
- Minimum 4 years progressive finance experience; commission analysis and reporting a strong plus
- Experience with financial systems software package (Cognos/TM1/Oracle); Commission software is a plus.
