SENIOR ACCOUNTANT 

Responsibilities:

  • Own month-end close responsibilities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations across areas such as revenue accruals and deductions, fixed and intangible assets, prepaid expenses, intercompany transactions, and debt obligations
  • Reconcile inventory unit counts for revenue, COGS, and movement across a distributed warehouse network (including third-party logistics partners), driving variances to root-cause resolution
  • Partner with the overseas business unit to capture and record any revenue not yet reflected in the books at period close
  • Manage customer contract documentation and records that underpin trade deductions and promotional allowances
  • Collaborate with the AR team to ensure accurate credit memo classification tied to customer-taken deductions
  • Work cross-functionally with the Finance team to validate and substantiate deduction data
  • Own the monthly debt ledger, capturing draws, paydowns, interest accruals, and amortization of issuance costs
  • Compile monthly sales tax data, prepare related journal entries, and record both the tax liability and associated payments
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives, including drafting and maintaining procedural documentation
  • Support the annual financial audit and lender audits; prepare trade deduction and allowance schedules as needed
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with Account Management and Sales stakeholders
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and executive-ready reporting at the request of senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 2+ years of public accounting highly preferred
  • CPA designation or active candidacy preferred; solid command of US GAAP is essential
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, and data extraction techniques
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear takeaways for leadership
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms; NetSuite familiarity a plus
