  • Assist in developing cost standards for materials, labor and overhead and perform month-end inventory cost accounting close
  • Oversee monthly physical inventory count and analyze inventory valuation
  • Demonstrates conceptual understanding and practical experience working with multiple ownership entities.
  • Prepares general ledger reconciliations, schedules, and related journal entries.
  • Ensures compliance of accounting policies and reporting requirements, in accordance with GAAP and SOX Internal Controls compliance efforts.
  • Complies with audit requests and aides in the research and analysis of audit issues.
  • Maintains fixed asset records and timely and properly records depreciation, additions, and disposals
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.
  • Experience in preparing schedules for sales tax, excise tax, local and special tax filing requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or economics
  • Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience
  • ERP experience required
  • Experience with working with manufacturing or agriculture industry, but not required
