SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- Record monthly journal entries as needed
- Prepare monthly reporting materials
- Review monthly financial statements including property-level balance sheets and income statements for completeness and accuracy for a portfolio of approximately 30 properties
- Analysis of property-level performance including variances to budget and forecast
- Obtain and review account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and reconcile to corporate accounts
- Review lease amendments and lease profiles in CM module
- Maintain and ensure compliance with SOX documentation
- Review CM for outstanding AR and prepaids and work with 3rd party property managers to clear balances as needed
- Record monthly forecasts and annual budgets for both GAAP NOI items and capital
Requirements:
- BS degree with Accounting emphasis
- Previous public company experience
- Previous experience in real estate or healthcare preferred
- Detail oriented with good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
- Strong Excel capabilities
- Deadline and project oriented
- Knowledge of MRI/BPC softwares a plus
- Teamwork capabilities
