SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Responsibilities:

  • Works with management on annual plan and 5-year strategic plan and current year forecast.
  • Performs the consolidation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Designs reports and dashboards to track key financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Prepares financial analysis and reporting materials for cost center owners: highlighting variances to forecast & budget,
  • Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget through monthly variance analysis and the provision of key explanations for business and financial results.
  • Participates in revenue forecasting and expense forecasting, including headcount analysis.
  • Participates in driving improvements to current processes, maintain KPI’s and trend analysis.
  • Participates and represents Finance in ERP Implementation as needed
  • Develops detailed financial models
  • Maintains Data Integrity of Financial Planning System including uploading financials into Host Analytics/Planful, reconciling schedules at month and quarter end. Troubleshooting any discrepancies
  • Cross trains peers on financial systems and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting (including experience with revenue, margin, and spending analyses)
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle. Experience in Planful/Host Analytics preferred not required)
  • Good understanding and application of financial principles, concepts, practices, and standards
  • Expertise with MS Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources (ie PowerBi)
  • Independent, detail oriented and diligent in self-review of work product
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
