  • Supervise and develop the staff accountant
  • Responsible for month end closing, which includes journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
  • Prepare the monthly financial statements and fluctuation analysis report
  • Work with the division’s leadership team to develop the annual Budget and Reforecasts
  • Fully understand and review the various Royalty Licensing Agreements where the Company is the licensor to ensure accurate tracking, reporting and receipts
  • Oversee and maintain Dependable Solutions, the software used by the Company, to collect quarterly royalty reports from the licensees
  • Prepare invoices for the Guaranteed Minimum Royalties to send to the Company’s licensees
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and special projects as required
  • Submission of quarterly royalty invoices to AP for payment
  • Work with the sales team to provide Sales Forecasts as requested by the Company’s licensors
  • Oversee Direct Import ASN process to ensure timely invoicing to customers
  • Prepare monthly Direct Import shipping reconciliation

Experience & Requirements

  • BS Degree with emphasis in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 5 years accounting / FP&A with retail, eCommerce & P&L background
  • Background in royalties/licensing preferred
  • Self-starter with significant level of accountability

  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Dependable Solutions systems (Licensing software)
