SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Essential Duties:

  • Assist Controller with Month-end/Year-end close and Financial Statement preparation
  • Enter expense vendor invoices in accounting system, enter and match material invoices in accounting system with PO receipt, match check to invoices.
  • Resolve pricing issues with the Purchasing Department
  • Generate weekly vendor check runs, analysis of A/P and Unvouchered Subledger and update, as required.
  • Daily invoicing of shipments, submit invoices to customers, daily processing of cash receipts.
  • Collections and processing of prepayment and credit cards, oversee credit holds
  • Analysis of all past due invoices and assist in collection activities, maintain reconciliations and transactions on selected Balance Sheet Accounts.
  • Filing of Accounts Payable and Receivable Filing of files and documents
  • Assure the security and integrity of all databases and information systems.
  • Responsible for entire payroll process
  • Manage financial information requests from PE firm

Requirements:

  • B.B.A. Degree in Business.  Accounting Degree.
  • Five or more years of advanced knowledge and experience in the accounting field, focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Payroll
  • Comfortable in a very “Hands-on” environment (This is a small department and the role will be involved in all aspects of accounting from A-Z)
