Comp: $125-145K + bonus

ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team handling day-to-day accounting operations, including tax
- Develop and enforce internal control frameworks and procedural standards governing financial transactions and budget development
- Direct the preparation of operational reports, forward-looking financial projections, and annual spending plans
- Manage the timely production of financial statements, ensuring full adherence to GAAP and applicable reporting standards
- Oversee year-round tax strategy and coordinate corporate tax return submissions
- Conduct account reviews to verify compliance with applicable regulations at all governmental levels; serve as the primary liaison for external audit engagements
- Deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding both near-term and long-range fiscal goals and financial policy
- Provide in-depth financial analysis supporting capital allocation decisions, revenue pricing models, and contract review processes
- Monitor and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum of six years of related experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- ERP system implementation experience a major plus
