  • Prepares consolidated financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual) and ensure all consolidation and eliminations of the financials are performed properly monthly.
  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities including sales and accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing to customers, customer credits and collections, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, employee reimbursements, and inter-company transactions.
  • Ensure all accounting records, monthly accounting close activities, and variance analysis are properly prepared, maintained, and explained in a timely manner.
  • Manage and lead accounting staff, providing overall direction, oversight, and coaching.
  • Lead all activities related to our annual audit process, coordinating with an external CPA firm.
  • Key relationship roles on reporting needs for corporate tax and treasury functions.
  • Assist in the company’s assessment of technical accounting maters, including those related to complex transactions, emerging areas, and the adoption of new accounting standards.
  • Perform cash projections to effectively manage cash balances, manage the banking relationships and maximize the return on any excess cash balances.
  • Develop/update / document business processes and accounting policies to drive operational efficiencies and strengthen internal controls, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.


  • 10+ years’ experience in accounting, preferably working in a manufacturing environment or similar experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Big4 or public accounting experience.
  • CPA required.
  • A skilled leader who effectively leads the group by clearly communicating expectations, following through on deliverables, and providing input and direction to ensure the accurate and timely development and communication of financial data inputs.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in general ledger functions and thorough understanding of the month-end/year-end close process.
