Comp: $110-120K + 15% bonus + stock awards
Hybrid Schedule: 1-2 days per week from home (may require full in office during quarter/year end)

SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT
Duties:
- Prepare transactional journal entries, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, dispositions, and notes receivable.
- Perform accounting functions related to joint ventures including, but not limited to, the preparation of monthly joint venture distributions and income allocations. • Collaborate with accounting and other teams to set target dates and processes to prepare the information needed for SEC filings and other publicly presented information.
- Prepare 10Q/K disclosures and other quarterly reporting schedules, including tie-out support. • Prepare quarterly account flux analyses.
- Prepare disclosure checklists.
- Support the Assistant Controller, Controller and Director of Financial Reporting with ad hoc analyses and projects.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by preparing audit requests.
- Maintain accounting and reporting systems (Yardi, Concur, Workiva), including identifying and implementing process and reporting enhancements.
- Cross training on general close and AP functions.
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting (or related field with concentration in Accounting)
- CPA license (or in process)
- 3-5+ years’ experience, including 2+ years of public company experience, preferably within the real estate industry
- Will consider straight public accounting candidates (must have solid exposure to publicly traded clients)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
